-The Superband Deadlift-

As promised earlier today in talking with a loyal “Outside the Box” reader, here is an awesome Deadlift variation that uses the Superband.  I love this variation because the band gives a pulling force that essentially forces you to sit the hips back and hinge properly!

    I had to replay this 3 times to get it right; I just naturally wanted to do a squat! I did find 2 Spri xerbands, 16 by 1/2 inch and they anchored well for recoil on the back of my Total Trainer (thigh level). I don’t weigh much and have limited space in my apt so hope I can get by with this setup for your similar exercises. Thanks Sarah!

      Awesome! I’m happy you got things worked out! I have become quite adept at setting up bands and such in various situations! Years of working with clients in their homes will do that! 🙂 I should shoot a little vid showing some setup options…hmmmm. Glad you are now “hinging” and not squatting!

    Thanks for the video! I have trouble finding anchor spots indoors too; it’s easier outside when I can just loop the band around a tree.
