-Reaching Squat Matrix + Band-

Yesterday, I introduced you to my “Reaching Squat Matrix.”  I wanted to show you that these movements can also be done using a resistance band.

You don’t need a high-tension band for this exercise!  I am using a pink JC Band.  Anchor the band at a high level.  You’ll get a nice “crunch” sensation in the abs as you bring the arm down, and the core must work hard to control the “extension” phase of the movement.  The band provides a pulling force that challenges the trunk and shoulder in a different way than a dumbbell.
