I wanted to share one of my personal favorite shoulder mobility drills. It’s called a Kettlebell Halo, but I now call it a Kettlebell Orbit.
Please excuse the poor video quality. I shot this a while back using my little ol’ laptop.
The movement is pretty straightforward. Grab the kettlebell by the [...]

One of the more nifty tools that’s become a little popular these days is simply a 30-50 foot piece of rope.
What?
What in the heck do you do with a rope, you ask?
Kick your as*!
Seriously.
Rope undulations are TREMENDOUS for total-body training! Your entire body must work to get the waves going, and keep ‘em going. [...]

Hey again!
A quick post…as I mentioned in my earlier post today, I will be contributing an e-book to Rick Karboviak’s 1MileNation.com Virtual Race. I have already begun working on an e-book, which will down the road be a part of an even larger e-book. What i’m wanting to know is:

Hey everyone!
I wanted to share something with you! Rick Karboviak of 1MileNation.com is hosting “The Big 1,” which is a Virtual Race, on April 18, 2009! What is a Virtual Race? As Rick puts it, “basically, its racing from home and posting your results, comparing it to all the other runners throughout the nation (even the rest [...]

Here’s my list, which [...]

If you’ve trained with me, chances are you’ve done Inchworms. I don’t have everyone do ‘em, but those who are “lucky” enough have a love/hate relationship with ‘em! The Inchworm is a great drill to improve flexibility in the hams, calves, and low back. It’s also great for core and shoulder stabilization. I like to throw [...]
